ARTIST FEATURE #7

TV STAR MTV MURPHY

CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR MUSIC JOURNEY LEADING UP TILL NOW ?

MUSIC JOURNEY: I started on the piano way back in first grade. I must have been like 8 or 9. I've always had a passion for music. As I got older I started to study and better understand the fundamentals of song writing and music theory. I started producing music and making beats freshmen year in high school. When it was time to apply for colleges I applied at some of the top universities with the best music programs and got accepted to Montana state university and Full Sail University in Orlando Florida. I later decided to drop out of high school so i could better focus my time and energy into my company JERSEY WILD'N as well as my career as a DJ and music producer. Since then I have booked gig's all over the east coast, as well as Chicago and LA. I started up the TALKING WILD podcast and joined the EVOKED NATIVES team.

WHAT PLANS DO YOU HAVE FOR THE FUTURE?

FUTURE PLANS: Right now I would say my biggest goal is to just build and expand my connections in the entertainment industry. I don't want to just limit myself to one area, but make content both in music, video, and other stems of the entertainment industry. I hope to start a branch of the WILD'N entertainment group in each major city around the U.S and eventually take the company and brand International.

WHAT INFLUENCES YOUR MUSIC?

MUSIC INFLUENCES: my biggest influence right now is the rapidily growing drill and jersey club scene. I feel like the emotion can really be felt in hiphop and drill music as well as jersey club holding down the jersey and NY party scene right now. Artist and DJ 24HOURS has influenced me to not only DJ but to also make music too. You don't see alot of main stream hiphop artists that make music but also DJ, so thats where my ideas stem from.

ANY COLLABORATIONS IN THE FUTURE? AND ANY FINAL THOUGHT FOR THE READERS?

COLLABORATION: I like working with other underground artists cause we all understand how hard it is to put yourself out there and be able to take the leap into the spotlight. I remember Djinn my first party of about 200-300 people. It was terrifying. But I'll never forget that feeling it gave me. It's hard to describe, the only way to truly understand what it feels like is to go out yourself and have the parties energy through the roof the entire yet. you walk out of the building with a hell of a buzz.
